Hazbin Hotel's Creator Has Seen Fans' Season 2 Predictions — With Some Positive Updates

The highly-awaited second season of the adult animated musical series Hazbin Hotel launches on Prime Video this week, and audience theories has been widespread.

Season 1 presents a diverse group of characters residing in Hell and Heaven, sets them at odds accompanied by musical numbers detailing their conflicts, and establishes tense rivalries and emotional bonds that fuel fan obsession.

The community's expectations for season 2 differ greatly, but certain themes emerge over and over: Will Angel Dust escape his tormentor? Will we find out more about the binding agreement affecting the enigmatic Alastor? Will [favorite character] and [other character] finally get together?

"Obviously, I don't make the show with audience demands as the main goal," the creator stated recently. "But I believe that me being a devotee of the series means there's a lot of it just naturally. I also am eager for these things, and I want some of these things to occur, and clearly some of these things are meant to happen in the show!"

The creator reveals her long-term vision is for five seasons of Hazbin Hotel. Seasons 3 and 4 have received approval by the production companies, which finance the series.

That could imply viewers have to wait years for some of the major resolutions — but they may be surprised at how quickly the new season moves, and how many of what they're anticipating unfolds now.

"I feel like people are going to be highly satisfied," she adds. "There are several debut moments. I think we get some incredible reveals, some really cool backstories, and even just simple things, [like] I hope this character gets a song. […] We're going to hear additional musical numbers from the characters we didn't get to hear before."

The creator is well-informed of the theories and desires about season 2 — particularly in the form of audience prediction charts.

"I've seen a couple people make a prediction grid about season 2," she says. "Naturally I can't post it, but I've already completed some of them, and nearly every one of them have almost a bingo. I thought, Oh, if you put this [event] in this spot, it would be a bingo. So that makes me think we do a lot [of what fans are waiting for in this season], because I realized, Oh, there's multiple potential bingos on this card. So that makes me happy."

Hazbin Hotel the second season premieres on Prime Video on Oct. 29.
